Platinum Plus Seats

Designed for the premium Shakespeare experience, this ticket comes with extras:

  • The best seats in the house
  • One free non-alcoholic beverage with proof of ticket (must present ticket stub)
  • Priority reserved parking until lot section is full. Please arrive early as there are only a limited number of spots!
  • Free ticket exchanges. Subject to availability

Season Subscriptions

Season Subscriptions allow you to get tickets to all three main stage shows at a discounted rate. In addition, you will receive one free 'friend' ticket to be used to introduce a new person to the Festival. Subscribers can either choose all seats at the time of purchase, or receive a voucher to use for choosing at a later time. With a Season Subscription, exchanges are free up to 48 hours before the show. A Season Subscription is not available for the performances on Alumni Night or GLT Night.

Flex Tickets

  • FLEX tickets for 2014 are no longer available.
  • The Price is $35
  • Use them ANY day of the Festival - convert them to the Best Available seats (yep, even Platinum Plus!) on the day you wish to attend by calling or visiting the box office (subject to availability)
  • Receive a refund (less Ticketmaster fees) on unused FLEX tickets between August 12 and 14, 2013. Contact the box office for refunds. FLEX tickets not used or refunded by August 14, 2013 will be converted to a tax-deductible Festival donation
  • Donate your unused FLEX ticket price to the Festival after August 13, 2014

We have a limited number of tickets available each Tuesday for friends who find the Festival out-of-budget. Call the box office for details.

Pre-Show Tours

Backstage Tour $10.00 Take a peek behind the scenes of the Festival with our actor guides.
Manor and Costume Tour $10.00 Discover the secrets of our costume design experts. The talk also features a tour of Ewing Manor.

Theatre for Young Audiences

The 45 minutes of family-friendly entertainment is FREE, but requires a reservation. Please call (309) 438-2535.

The Illinois Shakespeare Festival daytime ticket office is located on the Illinois State University campus:

For Walk-ups:
Metered parking is available on School Street in front of the Centennial East building. Park and walk next door to the CPA building.

After 5:30 p.m. on performance dates, tickets are available for purchase through the evening Ticket Office located at Ewing Manor, 48 Sunset Rd Bloomington, IL 61701 (corner of Towanda & Emerson).

Special Assistance

The Festival's theater was designed with numerous seats accessible by those persons requiring special assistance.  Please notify the ticket office of special needs at the time of purchase.  For those in need of wheelchair assistance or assisted listening devices at the performance, please alert an usher at any time. 

Worried about the weather?

The Festival is committed to outdoor theatre, even through the occasional sprinkle, and will not cancel a performance prior to 15 minutes before curtain.  Please wear comfortable clothes and pack an umbrella when there are clouds. If you have questions before 5 p.m., please call the daytime ticket office at (309) 438-2535. If you have questions after 5:30 p.m., call the evening ticket office at (309) 828-9814
