Backstage Tours
Ever wonder what's behind the scenery? Want to peek into secret passageways and hidden backstage rooms? Want to discover interesting bits about the history of the Festival and how we put a season together? Then our backstage tours are for you! These 50-minute tours are conducted by our actors and leave from the courtyard ticket office 90 minutes prior to the show opening. The tour capacity is only 25 persons, so we recommend booking in advance. Tours are on June 23, 24, 27, 30; July 3, 9, 14, 15, 19, 22, 24, 28, 30; and August 3, 6.

Design Talks
Each performance at the Festival is a hand-crafted work of art with over 75 artists and artisans involved to create the magic. And it all starts with the director and designers! Learn more about this fascinating process at our special 50-minute design talks.
Scenic Design
Explore the fascinating world of sets and props. Are those brick walls on stage real? If you have to cut off a head on stage, how do your do that? Are the actors eating real food during the show? Take a close look at what goes on in our shops before the show goes up. Discover our inside secrets about set and prop construction and how we make the magic happen. Talks begin in the courtyard ticket office 90 minutes prior to the show opening. Scenic Talks are on June 25; July 1, 7, 10, 16, 20, 26, 29, 31; August 4.

Costume Design
Step inside the beautiful Ewing Manor house for our Costume Design talks. Get a glimpse at this extraordinary home while you listen to our costume expert talk about the design process from first production meeting to final product. Get a first-hand look at our designers' renderings and learn how cutter/drapers, first hands, and stitchers turn these visual ideas into the costumes you see on stage. Talks fill up fast so we recommend booking in advance. Talks begin in the courtyard ticket office 90 minutes prior to the show opening. Costume Talks are on July 2, 8, 17, 21, 23, 27; and August 2, 5.
