Internships are also available in Scenery, Scenic Art, Props, Lighting, Costumes and Production Assistant areas. All intern positions are full season.

The Festival plays to audiences of over 10,000 every summer and operates under an Actors' Equity Association U/RTA Tier II contract. Illinois State University is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
The 2013 dates are still tentative at this point, but the Festival technical staffs are typically contracted either for the build period from May 14th until July 18th or for the full season from May 14th until August 13th.
Supervisors are generally asked to arrive a few days earlier. The Illinois Shakespeare Festival employees between 60-75 technicians each summer. Housing is available at a nominal cost.
