Thank you for your interest in the Illinois Shakespeare Festival. The Festival is now entering its 33rd season, producing energetic new interpretations of plays, with the artistry and humanity of the Shakespearean canon as our inspiration and guide. The Festival plays to audiences of over 10,000 every summer and operates under an Actors' Equity Association U/RTA Tier II contract.
All contracts extend from May 12 - August 8, 2010
The entire company, including management, will meet on May 12th, with rehearsals beginning that evening. Weekly management meetings are scheduled afterward to plan and implement Festival guidelines. The Festival provides all housing if necessary.
